Title: Centre of mass for quadcopter
Post by: sankhasubhra11 on March 31, 2017, 09:04:07 PM
(http://)Is it the correct way of mounting the gps?Is centre of mass a great factor for a 450 sized quadcopter?I reduced the size of the esc wires to cut off mass of the wires. The images are-(//)I sodered it perfectly. Is it good to solder an esc.I have ordered 1000kv motors. They will be coming soon.I previously bought 4 * 1000kv motors but they were damaged.Rees52 didn't accepted my return.

The gps is preferred at center but , its more then okay to mount as you have done.I will suggest to decrease the length of stand.
Not an issue to directly solder the esc, but do check the motor spinning in correct direction before soldering.

If I place the GPS in the centre it will be the best but no space would be left for the apm2.8 to be mounted on.
