Did you search this forum before ordering the issues with ordering Radio via post and ordering such high value item, instead of now posting ?

1. India does not honor FCC certification for Radios. They need you to Get WPC Type Approval.
2. RC Radio Transmitters fall under 'Restricted' item category under Indian Custom HS code. You have to be lucky like few other or g**** the palms to get you item  through.

Clarification of [1] above... FCC certificates is ONE of the documents asked for during the WPC approval process (FWIK).

It seems like certificates that are pretty small in size have become the standard way out of this situation. Or you might know someone who knows someone.

Just like we can see the FCC certificate for a product using the FCC ID, is it possible to see the WPC approvals anywhere?

If you find Radio here, that means it is WPC approved.

Thanks for that. was looking at FLY SKY FS-CT6B. And its present in the link (So that means its approved) . How do i get the Approval certificate (WPC gazette) ?

Woww!! 8FG is listed. But who the hell is importing it!!! No one in the LHS circle has claimed WPC approval. NCC/UAV guys ??

I could see many Fly Sky models listed. I found it under the Search by Type, Category. If we need to see the certificate (WPC approval) for any of those, is there a way ?
