I want to order a Traxxas skully from amainhobbies but on their website there is a restriction note regarding shipping of transmitters to India. I want to know if this is applicable to RC cars or quadcopters? Will I be facing any problems from the Indian customs?

As per my experience and knowledge, anything with a transmitter and a radio will be a problem...
Customs will find a way to harass you. They can ask for WPC TYPE APPROVAL...and you will loose it there...

Better buy something from a LHS

I have ordered before from banggood. It was an RC truck with 2.4 GHz controller but with a Li-ion battery. Had no issues with that even though my package was opened by the customs.
I dont want to buy a used traxxas here and the new ones are over priced by the sellers.

AMain will not ship anything that is not allowed to be imported to the country.
Try adding an RTR car with a transmitter and it will not let yyou ship it to INdia.

So this is with amainhobbies only, right? Other sites would still ship stuff not allowed into India.
What other sites can i use to get traxxas cars?

I want to order some steering blocks for my ECX Ruckus from amainhobbies, and the shipping I can afford is UPS POST DELIVERY. They say that it is insured but but not trackable. So will it be fine to select this shipping or not ?
