had some old aeromodelling magazines lying around. thought of sharing some articles from them.

building techniques, tips, some advertisements, cartoons, articles, engine reviews, engine test results etc.
could not take the pics of each page. only some that i found interesting and worth sharing have been clicked. neither did i have enough patience to scan each page.

though maximum effort has been taken to take a good snap and make it readable. if any specific article required to be read and unreadable please let me know i can scan that page for you.

as of now only half have been uploaded and rest are on the way

since wanted to keep it readable and in highest quality my camera could capture could not upload them here.

they have been uploaded to my picasa account and are publicly available to view.

it comes from "model airplane news", "aeromodeller", "RCM" etc. from 1950s to 1990s ( issue in the page pic)

That is ancient!. My instructor, trainer and mentor (Mr. Irshad Anwar) was telling me about his days in aeromodelling, where you had to wind up the receiver before every flight, and there were only a certain number of signals you could send after which you had no control. How things have changed now  :)

Still have somewhere an Elmic Conquest escapement (a sequential servo?  powered by a rubber band) and a bang bang Tx with a single press button. Forget whether it was one press for left, next press for right, or one press for left and two for right. Engines Mills 0.75 and Cox Babe Bee.
And the oldest mag i have is from around 1947.......

the last time i heard of a bang bang... was with one bang movement. ( bang- left, bang-center,bang-right, bang center and so on.)

my mentor Mr. Abhay Saraff tells me a lot of these old state of the art technology, and is always fun to hear about them. specially of those old engines and their restoration work.

PS- a second lot 55 new snaps being added.
