Hmm. thats Jamal in the main photo. Is that his new SDX which he is flying.

Hey the article says there is a Aeromodeler's meet in Lonavala in february  (:|~ ... I wanna be there, anyone has any details ???

Referring to the annual, Wings India meet, at Ambi Valley. Venue and dates are not, as yet, yet confirmed.

Yes, he is refering to the Aamby valley meet. And yes, that is jamal with his T600 NSP in the main picture. My face behind the T700E FBL on the left and Gp Capt Ramesh tahlan training the girl on the right.

Looks like your field is becoming another Align heli land :giggle:   Is the 700E FBL yours ?  What batteries are you using (2 x 6s ?), and what sort of flight times are you getting ?

The 700E FBL is Roets brand new heli. Yes it is a 44.4 Volt setup at 5000mah, last we timed it at 16 mins on one charge and it was still going strong with ample power left(only sport flying). Only about 3800mah needed to peak it....so flight times are awesome!!

Wow ! That is quite a bit of flight time ! I would have guessed it to be much less than that, judging from the flight time of the earlier electrics (about 8 minutes for non 3D flights).

Please do find out the exact details of the lipos being used.

I think the real difference is because of the lesser drag and much lighter weight of the FBL system! Even we found these unrealistic but we did 3 tests - 12, 14 and 16 minutes timer and was still going strong. No rest/landing inbetween....

FBL only adds less than 2 minutes, in our local testing on 600 and below size helis.

Maahin... gurgaon is close to your place and its an excellent location ... people are friendly and have loads of experience .. you will learn a lot there... happy flying ;)
