AEROVISHWA

hey RC modellers wanna know what is the demand for the below RC stuff and what is the supply for these stuff at LHSs

the reason for this is that i happen to find manufacturing units in BELGAUM which produce many stuff from the same quality material in the industrial estate in belgaum..... planning to get some of the below things made so wanna know so that i can start a sale of the stuff....( small amt production is costly and it i du a large  amt production i have to sell it......)  :salute: :salute:

fiberglass planes ( .25-.60 or .90)
propellers ( masterairscrew clones)
plastic fuel tanks ( with all accessories)
engine mounts
rubber wheels..
and many more will post later as i remember.....

no anwar bhai,
i think vish is planning to source them from his local contact based on demand, from wht i spoke to him last, on almost no profit no loss basis, demand survey will help him source it in bulk probably, if he suceeds will be an LHS soon (Given his age and aspiration i doubt that )

Vish
My survey answer all of for me atleast to give it a try

A Great pilot will practice until he can't get it wrong.

I think the demand and inturn supply depends on the rate the planes and other stuff can be offered.
Example: When pvn2000 started offering planes at low prices people who did not want to buy planes earlier considered his products, this created demand and inturn supply improved.

So i think you can get a better picture if you can post some price range on the products.

Just my suggestion. :)

flying doc

If the products are good and at a good price the supply in time to come, will be less than the demand. Do post a few pictures of the stuff u are talking about and I'm sure that would create a demand.
Best wishes

Tiger Sports 40, SPA3D, SPAD Extra all with ASP 52 engines.
SPAD Debonair with OS 46
Turbo Raven 60 with an ASP 91
Next build - Accipiter 91 with DLE 20
Futaba 6EXAP, Futaba 10 CAP

@ wg cdr : i am done with the exams and have got 6months of free time to spare .... in addition to that my dad is well recognized in the industrial estate, belgaum ... so might be will have less problem regarding the age factor..... will try and get the best done....

@ flying doc : i have just done my exams so will be getting some stuff done on experiment bases and will post the pics ( having trouble posting pics on the forum)

@rajathv8 : the price will be surely half or 3/4 of the currently imported stuff or  what the LHS store

PS .... please have no doubt on the quality of the material .... the material will be of highest order and there will be no compromise on the quality....

just got the things and cost clear...... wanna know if it will be worth the investment of the molds....

fiberglass plane :  :Rs: 2500( only airframe ... copy of the boomerang) +  :Rs: 1000 for the accessories

rubber wheels :  :Rs: 40 each( 6cm dia.... same as dubro...)
fueltank :  :Rs: 120 ( with all accessories including brass tubes and rubber stopper same as the ones supplied with the ARFs )

but on the other hand... the cost for the dies and moulds...

PLANE:  :Rs: 3500
wheel:  :Rs: 6000
tank:  :Rs: 10,000

total investment  :Rs:20,000

currently thinking over whether to invest in to..... but will there be a scope...???? for the sale of these material as i will have to make a minimum of 100pcs  ( except the plane...)

The finish of the airplane would be a significant factor. What are you planning for this?

Missed this thread earlier. Great effort Vishvesh, but please be more specific, for example when you say Plane (fiberglass only Airframe)=2500/-; Accessories=1000/-. I am a little confused, Accessories includes wheels+tank or is for wheels+tank+pushrods+Undercarriage+control horns+engine mount etc.

My take on the whole plan for the dies and molds- Very reasonable investment. 100 pieces is not as great an amount as you think. I think if you look at the 'for sale' board, many people have exhausted these simple accessories in no time at all. It is these small accessories which are not available easily. Can you believe it, my aircraft is not off the ground for want of push rods and engine nuts and bolts.

AEROVISHWA

@ verma: i only need to buy: tank, mount, wheels (if self made or purchase) and control horns(inc clevis) the total will make around 1000-1300....... Regarding the pushrods/ snakes( they are locally available you can go through my previous threads) same applies for the undercarriage struts.....

LHS rates
wheel : 350( approx for 3 pcs)
tank : 300
mount: 260
horns and clevis: 150
and local rods and stuff : 200
                         ____________
TOTAL             :Rs:     1260.00

@sushil_anand : the finish will be very smooth with automotive paint..... it might look a bit costly for a boomerang but if i go for planes like mustang or spitfire i will still cost around  :Rs:3000-3500 + 1200 ( which costs around 7000 at LHS)
