Do you need a license to create a table out of scrap wood or to make foam advertisements? Then why the hell would you need one to make a plane out of foam or balsa? :giggle:
Unless you plan on making a huge one so you can fit inside and fly it. in which case please make your will before attempting to fly it.

I think you should ask if you need a license to operate the radios used in aeromodelling. If its 2.4G for control then no. Others probably you might.
Build planes like feathers rather than tanks, both handle bullets equally well.

I see that you are an "expert". So if you did not need a license up until now, you probably wont need it in the future. Although if you are flying in a public place or some others property, you need to have permission from the respective authority.
It is the pervading law of all things organic and inorganic,
Of all things physical and metaphysical,
Of all things human and all things super-human,
Of all true manifestations of the head,
Of the heart, of the soul,
That the life is recognizable in its expression,
That form ever follows function. This is the law.
