They are not really eagles. They are Kytes. For your own safety do not throw stones at them. I have horrifying personal experience in dealing with kytes. They are expert flyers and if you throw stones, they will dodge them easily. The biggest problem will be after that. Once they identify you as enemy, they will single you out for nasty dive attacks.  They appear to come from nowhere and attack in pairs. I have been victim of such attacks in our colony and have suffered deep bleeding wounds on my forehead. They have attacked my wife, children and nephew(4 inch wound which narrowly escaped stitches). In short whosoever associated with me. The best way is to ignore and avoid them. Over a period of time they will adjust with you and your models and then there will be not trouble.

Kites huh?On my terrace,my mum has had a close shave with them. Thanks for the heads up vishwas.I haven't tried hurting them but what you say is totally true. The dives are terrifying. And the best way to deal with them is ignoring them as Vishwas has said.Worked for me.

I have one nice idea, keep a dead mice a little away from the flying, on your way to the field, that will act as a deterrent to them and keep them busy for a while
Its the eye of the tiger, its the thrill of the fight
Risin up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
As he watches us all with the eyes of the tiger

There are few kites at baner, they follow my easystar coz it looks like a bird , but till now they were very harmless. I dint do anything about it,just ignored them. Sometimes i just give it a full throttle, the sound of 2200kv scare them away.

But they are not there everytime we fly, just sometimes.

I did see you with 2 helis. I had been there for microlite gliding and for enquiry about paragliding training. So, see you next time.

they generally chase and even attack the small electric  foamies.
they leave 46 size nitro birds alone- try flying them.
anyway, you are intruding in their AIRSPACE on sunday mornings- so one must be a gracious guest and put up with the birds.
regards, Avijit

You could place one of those lost plane buzzer or something on the plane/heli, and turn it on when the birds get near .The noise may keep them off.

As Avijit said we are the intruders and the birds should not be harmed in any way.

IMO shoot them, anothr new hobby invented...lol ;)
I'll be back.

jitender

Shoot them!!!!!!!!! This is in very bad taste. So many birds are killed due to human activities, at least we should not do it intentionally.
Corruption and such irresponsible behavior towards the environment are birds of the same feathers.Need to be rooted out.
Our very existence depends on the plants and animals around us(Nothing is useless every thing created has a purpose in nature, the only creature which does not have a purpose in nature is man.),we may not understand this now but wait 15-20 years ,it will be very clear, but too late.

traxxrc1

I know  a lot about biodiversity and ecosystem,i'v been a bio student in  my high school and intermediate.

Either ways, i wont care the hell for nature and biodiversity if a  kyte is coming to bite off my  face!!!!!!
I'll be back.

jitender

Animals have very simple needs, food is one. It will do that only if have a rat on your face.

traxxrc1

u mean this guy
vishwasvm

had rats on his face...?? :D
I'll be back.

If you provoke then such things happen.See how defensive/offensive you are.Same with animals.

looks like they dont care about noise , i mean a 600-700 electric heli whipping around is not exactly quiet

I have not experienced such size heli noise, but if u say it is loud it must be. Sometime the amount is less important and  the quality more important. If you have heard those ultrasonic electronic mosquito/pest repellents ,to us they do not make much noise but the frequency that is emitted is very noisy for the mosquitoes/pests.So these buzzers make very shrill sound of high frequency which may be effective against birds. I would like to test this but I have no such problem here.See
