Hello all! i was going through the september edition of EFY magazine and noticed under the DIY section- XBee-controlled aircraft.
they have just shown a basic setup for a short range and not much advancement!! i went back to the drawing board and did some research on these!! i tested their setup and found it not bad!! but no trims and nothing!! just two joysticks!! but i was thinking about programming it for digital trims and adding in a nokia screen(nokia 5110) !! i had done few basic projects with the nokis screen hack but couldnt get going with this project as i dont have much knowledge and no further reference(i'm still doing my mechanical engineering, so learnt basic prog for arduino)!! the main reason why i wanted to try this was the range!! commercial available and cheapest xbee give a range of few meters but a long range module like the XBee-PRO® 868 give upto 80 kms each!!
