Hi there ...
Has any one tried yoga mat ... Its rubber , available in 6 feet can be extended ' foldable , and anti skid ..should be great .... Let's try

RCNeil21

Docnayeem, good idea  but yoga mats are very costly, even the basic ones will cost Rs.300 for a 6 feet sheet. And the basic ones dont have a grippy surface and are not of good quality. Good quality thick mats that can be used as landing strips will be 600+ for 6 foot sheet. And they wont last much as they arent designed to take the beatings of a RC planes tires. :(
Build planes like feathers rather than tanks, both handle bullets equally well.

The only way is .people make home made clay wicket on Shivaji park mumbai, they borrow rollers to press it...hobbyist can make a track like this for flying

asinghatiya

making a track like this always risky because; claimants of a nicely done track are more cricketers than flyers. :giggle: :giggle: :giggle: though a good idea   . Wot ever be spent on fold able material; can we spent on a hired roller for half a day to make a landing track.
:-)

Normally these rollers are there on grounds e where...little effort needed: Kay Kyla karna padata hai flying ke liye

Experience goes these wickets are made by some tennis cricket clubs...so they claim it ...and if others r playing thy leave it to guys when back.....so you can say it's flying groups turf normally on some corner where people would dislike to chose it to play cricket :giggle:
