i had a mid air collision yesterday. my low winger and a fellow flyer's high winger trainer did a head on collision . dont know where we went wrong.  . anybody else had a mid air collision?? seems to be very rare.

We had a mid air at our field yesterday. A huge and 1.5kg SPAD Cessna ripped off a 500grams foam Oshkosh. The cessna kept flying like nothing happened while the oshkosh fell from the sky like a dead bird. The worst part is that the foamy belongs to a fellow modeler who returned to the field after a two months break. BTW mid airs are not very rare at our field, here guys like to fly formation and keep bumping into one another

same was here. yesterday.. i just took of and was coming into the circuit. and the other plane ripped my wing apart.  both the planes had a massive head on collision. all the electronics were safe.. bodies were into pieces.. i still coudnt find wher the other half of the wing is..

Well, after the mid-air collision when the plane hit the ground, it hit on the wing and the other part of the wing was completely shattered into tiny pieces and that is why you could not find it.

Though it was a good day yesterday (weather wise), by the end we of the day it was a day with 2 models almost completely shattered.

Wish such things do not happen again.

Amusingly we had two mid air collisions involving same 2 planes... both survived... Easy Star and AXN Floater.... arch rivalry...

i guess yesterday was the accident day
