At the 1:30 mark the person in the video removes a new plug from the packaging and solders it to the onboard power supply plug. What is the name of this plug and any idea where I can get it?
this similar to the jst plug i think its called molex connector

It's not a Molex
In fact I too have been searching for this for my Hitec Radio - I'm making a spare LSD NiMH battery pack.

I have similar connectors 2 & 3 pins, it normally cost Rs 2/- per pair (2pin) and one can find similar 3pin stuff in computer fans
