First Of all Welcome to The Forum. Now About your parcel first of all I would like to tell you that Its a 10ch Radio Link Transmitter. Well That's A Problem always customs requires WPC NOC for this to clear the Parcel of this types containing Radio Tx/Rx. But Don't worry Well what happens is that in some cases parcel is received at The Nearest Office Of Exchange sent to customs but in some Cases ( like yours) Is sent to Domestic Location Custom Clearances Office like the One In Chennai ( Chennai APSO). And Yes you don't need to worry I called customs today asked about your parcel and they said you should receive a letter well if you don't receive just call them or you can visit them. In Very rare Cases only Radio Tx/Rx gets cleared.And Yes Sometimes they don't update like in your case but never to worry in that Thani.

Ship it throught Fedex, DHL....but chances of the Tx/Rx getting through is 75-80%

Better option would be to get Taranis X9D plus locally plus being open source the it also has a huge support community and people trying to improve firmware...plus RX are also cheap and available

Well Just Now check your product link and in that I found out that it contains a Transmitter this is only where the problem is. Well always customs requires WPC NOC For that type of parcels that Contains Tx/rx and Believe me its really tough to Get a WPC NOC. The only thing can be done now is by contacting them and asking that can they release the parcel without that if not then you will have to send the parcel back and get your money back. I know its tough as this was the gift for your son.But this is only the way Friend. I will try to call them tomorrow you also try calling them and yes if they say that the WPC NOC Is required then you will have to request them to  send the parcel back.As most of the parcels are sent back which contains Tx/rx. ( Believe me on this its really hard to Get WPC NOC )

Just got my parcel from dhl , it contained a few props and 2 orange recievers for my fried , got it without a hassle (custom duty was around about 2100 rs) . If you have radio equipments go for dhl/ups/fedex they will clear it and get it to you .

and what was the total price of the parcel ?

60$- Rx
10$- props
30$- shipping
2100- customs

i just ordered via fedex from HK .. 2 lipo and rest junk ( just to fill up the weight )

total about $55 ( with shipping ) .. how much do you think will i have to shell out more ?

I bought a few items worth 15000 from fedex (inc shipping) they charged me 5000 as customs , but they gave me real headache as it had lipos . No air connection was available due to the lipos , they had to change my parcell from expeess to economy (which took 9 DAYS) it was then sent out via surface. I hope you dont face this issue .

i orderd 3 days ago, its in delhi with expected delivery today ! .. thast why i asked . mine is Fedex priority.

so for my order how much should i expect to pay to them .. ALSO, is there any way that they dont charge anything ?

My guess will be from 1200-2000 , since you live in NCR it wont be a issue for you (no further connection needed) . Best of luck.

Yes that's correct FedEx and UPS are really Good in Their Priority service also their Economy Shipping is Fantastic there is no problem even if we Order Tx/rx but yes in DHL everything is okay but nowadays they have started demanding WPC NOC For Tx/rx I really don't know why my friend faced this Issue actually. No Offence to DHL it Is a really good shipping service and have ordered and got products from them real soon that was shipped by DHL
And yes if there is no prohibited item then FEDEX And UPS just takes 15 to 20 mins  and 5 hours maximum for customs clearances and whereas DHL takes like 2 to 3 hours ( Sometimes just 2 mins saw that in my friends tracking when he ordered some products from hobbyking.com really excellent Service)
Well Parichya you should get your item in a day or two if your parcel has cleared customs. ( and I hope it has cleared)
and yes there is sometimes they don't charge anything (in very rare cases ) but always they do charge like 20 to 35 % of duty I think so mainly.As Sir it would amount like 1000 to 1200 rs approximately.

Well Yes it has cleared customs and It was received at local FedEx office at 5 am Today morning so it should be delivered today or by Tomorrow if not then I think you should contact the Local FedEx office of your area mate.

@parichya.gautam: Today all FedEx load from Delhi to UP are offloaded in Delhi for some reasons. They'll be reconnected by evening and 100% you will get it tomorrow.

Well Yes actually That's correct even here In Vapi to Mumbai I think they are maybe on strike because some order of mine was coming through Bluedart they didn't deliver it actually. Thanks For Informing though milind.
