Pls advise whether these items will get stuck in customs??? (As it includes airplane kits, though without TX RX and some lipos)

I was planning to split the order in two halves but then the shipping would be on higher side. Plus, theres always a chance to grab a freebie on HK for 100$ plus items.

Is it advisable to declare 100% value on the invoice or should i reduce it to say 70%.

Pls advise.

i thinks u order all in chunks, and dont exceed parcel weight more then 500gm each.

In big parcel this is second time that I become Lucky.
Today I have bring my parcel (1/10 scale nitro  truck with receiver) from postoffice. Yesterday he postman came and told that u have parcel in post office this is big or may be fergile. So plz took it and pay 1443 Rs as a custom duty. so paid and got my parcel without going custom at airport.

hi all,
i recently ordered a few equipments from hobby king (motor,battery,esc,props,servos) through EMS.
the tracking of the item shows that it has been sent to customs for verification and it has been there for 10 days now.
tracking no: EQ300797781SG.bill is of $150

i stay in delhi so i was wondering if anyone staying in DELHI who has had issues with customs while ordering items from hobby king to please advice me as to what i should do now so as to get my items and where should i go???

I have already faced same issue, and living in delhi too..
1. only key is Just wait n wait......min 2 weeks and max 4 week,
2. Dont use EMS and I have observed EMS parcels always take time in custom clearance
3. You have not ordered any banded item, like Tx Rx or big one. so dont worry

May I ask how much you have ordered that few items got bill of 150$ and what is wait of parcel ??

As per my past experience............You will get your parcel in coming 2 weeks.............so dont worry and chilll

i got one motor,one ESC,one 11.1v lipoly,and four hitec servos along with propellers,and a few control horns and hinges.
i am making a trainer airplane from scratch so none of the above parts are for sale

guess our inefficient government custom systems will have to make me wait for quite some time as i cant wait to get the parts and complete my plane

well it's not just you whose parcel is stuck with customs even my order from hobby king EA131284755HK is with them for more than ten days.The items which were ordered are 4 hextronic servos,Velcro,1800 mah lipo battery and orange Rx 

Customs has a strong back log at the moment ... kindly wait for atleast 10-15 days post recieving the send item to customs notification.....

My parcel was directly sent from Delhi IMC to my local Post office last week. Recently the postal Department has geared up to timely release packages to confer to international postal norms. For EMS parcels,  10 days in such circumstances is little fishy. What do you have in that parcel Chintu ? Please note that Radio Transmitters  are many times held. So do call the Delhi EMS center if 2 weeks has elapsed (from tracking, I can see it was sent to Customs on 2nd March itself)

No ujjwana my parcel didn't had any radio or arf ,where can I get the number of Delhi EMS ?

As they always said "Just don`t bother about the customs delay, do NOT call them or email them, just wait patiently, it will reach you for sure." :-)

I happened to receive my parcel today without any custom issues... I guess the delay was due to back log with customs

Yes you parcell is with custom now, So you have to wait, atleast 10-15days,
bytheway what is in this parcell ?

Yes, it's already sent to Hyd from Mumbai FPO. It contains no RTF, no sort of planes, no helis but just parts, worth $80.
