Hmm i guess you should call up customs then... and ask them about your parcel.. Do you have any tracking number or anything?

Nope , np tracking number ,just have recipet of royal mail which was sent by sender, were should i call and what should i ask for , i mean no tracking number , how will they trace it

Bimal, check with the sender and get the tracking number. Without tracking number nobody can help you i guess.

This seems like un-registered mail. Its normally takes one month to be delivered in mumbai. So, i dont think you can do anything, other than wait.
Its surprising the sender sent a 165GBP item using un-registered mail - its pretty risky

Damm, i guess so .. Post at london said it will be delivered in 5 days ya .. and i know royal mail is prompt at the services ..
i guess yes raja i should just wait .. can't do much

Bimal, In mumbai airport, there should be collection of Royal mails, Why dont you got there first, and then contact customs.

Mumbai Foreign Post Office has the jurisdiction over the post offices in the Maharashtra circle, Andhra Pradesh up to Hyderabad, Karnatka-Hubli and Dharwad , Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Accordingly, consignments pertaining to the above said jurisdiction only; are Customs Cleared by Postal Appraising Section Mumbai.

So, Mumbai Customs will not check your parcel since its not in their jurisdiction. They forwarded it to Delhi customs.
Delhi customs will examine your shipment.
