gr8, 1.isn't that your Jumper 25? 2. Pawn Pandita says , you guys have models running on Gas ??? CNG? or LPG ;D?
Just joking.
Good to see Aeromodelling getting recognized, I think it should be pushed as a regular sporting activity in Asian Games Olympics etc, Like archery shooting etc..No?
Thank you Vinay.....
Augustinev Sir Ji... thank you... that is right it is a jumper 25... I totally agree with you ... I would love to participate in Olympics ;) hahhaha
Great Going Divay and all fellow modellers !!! All the very best !!!
Great show!!! Well done guys!
Thank you VC sir... it is vetrans like yourself that we learn from .....
best regards to you
Next time, mention RCIndia.org also :giggle:
hey anwar i did ask them to mention the same , if you see on the right hand side of the article you would see sales and repairs, I did ask them to mention rcindia.org as a popular site where people get thier queries resolved, however somehow they did not put that input in.... :(
Will try harder next time
Well done Divay, I guess, this would not have happened without you around
Thanks Divay, I was partly kidding though... great to hear that you remembered :)
We need more RC enthusiasts (and occasionally people who sell virtual stuff and come with gender confusion... just to spice things up a bit ;) )

Looks like more of AMAI venture. Good something is rolling by thier effort. PR is a big business today, not easy get coverage.
I also see some errata/wrong information on the right foot note regarding Build Time and Cost.
1. The Minimum for Plane should be bit less than 20K - as Mr Sai is oferring for lot less and Rotor.Co.in for as low as 15K for a Nitro.
2. The Minimum for a chopper is way less than 1.5 lacks. you can get a HK450 up with a radio for as low as 12-15K. a 50/60 size Nitro Heli (not Align/Titan, a beginner one) would not cost more than 50-60K.
3. Time taken to build is a bit underrated. It takes much more even for ARF to make them airworthy and lot lot more for Scratch/Kit Builds.
Hope to see non AMAI clubs get some lime light soon. Need to browse thru my Linkdin to see if I have some journalist friends.
Thank you Pankaj....... I will take that with open arms ;)
Ujjwanna Sir,
The prices mentioned are basically new start up.... prices in which we forecasted the cost of a 6ch remote for planes and a 9ch and above for heli's
I know thoughts can differ and I agree with what you have written from your view point.
Are there no heli fliers there? it says "their dreams have wings" and not "their dreams have blades" :giggle:
Heli blades I meant! ;D
hahahahah....
No heli flier at Noida Vinay :(
I have a hirobo .50 size waiting on the shelf for someone experinced to teach me how to fly....
I do have friends in Delhi and Gurgaon, however the distance makes it impossible.....

Divey,
Its long to go before you put a 'Sir' in front of me - at least need to build 10 planes, clock 200+ hrs on the Logbook and help/train 10+ rookies.
Well I was just concerned that these prices would make this hobby more 'Nobel' (even though Delhi-wallas are very free in spending, out of what 4+ year I been there). If we put a more modest start-up prices, I bet more and more people would turn up to your flying fields.
I cherish the coverage of RC in such mass media. I cam to know about RC from a Chaha-Chowdhari Comics and then a Hindi Science magazine 'Vigyan Pragati'. We should make best out of them.
Divay,
I started heli flying all by myself. Believe me. No one around me to check the heli, settings or the radio config.
I bought a kit and built it all by myself. It was one of the best experiences. and i learnt much more i would ever have through forums, videos and online resources.
I would say spend time on the guides, how-tos and SIM and go ahead and get your heli up in the air ( with a training gear ) . You will enjoy learning by yourself. Just take your time and be thorough.
-Gaurav
+1, you can learn all by yourself. many people on this forums learnt heli all by themself.
Totally agree with you Ujjwaana Sir.........
Gaurav and Vinay ... thank you for the inspiration.. lets see if that helps my hands from trembling..... ;)
