Great. Now we should send this to DGCA as soon as possible. Please share email here and everyone send this PDF to them.

Hello Sravan sir,

First of all a big thank you. That was a very beautifully written draft with every word making complete sense. I enjoyed reading it. I wouldn't be able to write it that professionally. Thank you, sir.

Now, all we need to do is that all of us should join together and spam DGCA with this. We should all tweet to DGCA, DRDO, PMO, CMO and all other government authorities. We should all unite to make this happen. Share it with your friends and family, relatives and whoever you can. Ask all your friends to send an email to DGCA regarding this. Ask them to tweet to DGCA regarding this. If we don't unite now all hope is lost.

Thank you guys for appreciating the comments. Meanwhile do not send anything to Mr Hillol Biswas on his Facebook etc. Remember it is not him who has devised these rules. He has nothing against. It is mainly Ministry Of Home Affairs who are giving danda to DGCA to come out with rules because DGCA got to govern the rules. But to frame the rules everyone is participating and giving comments like MHA, IAF, DGCA, NTRO ...and more agencies , i am not aware of.

A few days back a meet took place in Delhi in which various stake holders like civilians were also invited. It was headed by Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Civil Aviation.  Mr B S Bhullar from DGCA was also present.

A little bit from the speech of MR Jayant Sinha
Now Mr Jayant Sinha gave a very impressive speech. He said "we want to come out with the UAS rules so that India does not lag behind. Now our rules cannot be like australia or canada because we have security issues.  I myself being an engineer have been following developments in this field with a lot of interest. India can be at the forefront of this technology. We are looking at making UAS upto 80% of top performance at 20% of the cost. We are looking at boosting our UAS sector and be a lead exporter. But again security is main concern. I

Now if u heard the speech it would sound impressive. But again his speech and the result in the form of very restrictive CAR do not match. I doubt how we Indian are going to be at the forefront of this technology with such rules.

There is going to be another meet in banglore in first week of december. Date is not yet out. SO those who live in banglore can attend. I will see if i can attend.

Next thing is we need to see how we can put pressure on these guys from varoious sources. I am thinking of sending my article to some magazines like SP aviation and some other defence magazines so that it gets maximum publicity and people come to know where we are headed for. Also send it to Niti Ayog. Any suggestions on which other govt departments it should be sent. Also other guys from the forum can also send the printed copies to other govt organisations. Advice in matter of how to go about is welcome.

The customs, the WPC and the bureaucrats only want to squeeze money out of people's pocket. If you want to know about it Google "WPC license agents". The said agents will charge you 67-68k to get whatever documents is required. The whole system is a mess and a money making scheme for them

This looks good for the proffesional users but very bad for us hobbyists. Also 3600 modelers have raised concern to dgca :salute:

Any positive response in the open house ? And when can we finally expect the regulations to come out and be in place ?

Any new developments, worth noting? I just ran through the document and didn't find anything particularly new.

BTW, anyone planning to participate in the DEMO?
