+1 i am witness to that
sandy! what about my room?

Gusty your situation is no different.  :giggle: The way you keep calling out to mam or Vineet for accessories and tools whenever we are building is a proof to that.  >:D

Your Hanger is no comparison to the above pictures Gusty since its always in an orderly fashion neatly arranged and all the stuff kept in its place (only you don't know where they are  :giggle: )  :giggle: thanks to Varsha Mam and Vineet whenever you are working on one model remaining go back to their respective places automatically without you noticing it...........................

...............aaaaa >:D >:D ....but..... for one rare exceptional occasion for 15 days once in every three years when you have to pack to go to the next station, when you are desperately trying to get the hanger in ALG of 1200sqft, store of 1000sqft, garage of 300sqft, and a hanger at home of 400sqft all at one place at home and struggling hard to get them into one truck with longest possible trailer in which your household goods fits in a small pocket. That's a Scene.

But if I compare that picture then it will be unfair on all of us.  8-) 8-). Other than myself, Param and Shilpa, VC and Mrs VC have also been witness to that.

PS: I am still desperately trying to get hold of that four huge boxes which you accidentally left behind at Shillong.  >:D >:D :giggle: :giggle:

Serial crasher

Here's my workplace with the Skysurfer all glued up and ready to fly.( and unfortunately after cleaning up) :(

But considering I'm at Level 1 and you guys are at Level (nth)maybe I will get some grace points >:D

Landings are nothing more than controlled crashes

gauravag

Very interesting and inspiring  ;D ;D

With stalwarts ahead of me, I see no chance of winning :) Though ill remember to take pictures in 'messier' days !

And the proof of a true aeromodellor is that he will fill up all the space you give him, over a period of time, and also , that you'll find something related to RC within a 2 meter radius everywhere in house  ;D

Iyerji, the carpet in your picture reminded me of a very similar one i had in my hobby room. Used to make it so hard to find the small odd parts on it !

Great guys, keep it coming.

Iyer Sir,

If any of those pictures gets out where we are all covered up in sanding dust after a session of rigorous grind down it will be Humour in RC  :giggle:  :giggle:

I still remember mine when myself and one of my colleague while working on a huge 3 mtr foam model outside in the terrace when were busy grinding away huge sheets of HD thermocole after hotwire cutting with electric sander for wing aerofoil with thick cloth masks on our face, Naively oblivious to the fact how the entire area and our self's were getting covered in a layer of foam powder. It was only when Shilpa came back from her errand and when she screamed out seeing our masked faces covered in all white did we realize what jokers we were looking. Even the cloths hanging in the line outside for drying were covered in white layers of foam powder. what a scornful look we got that day.

sundaram

@ Gaurav Please don't post such Organised Hanger in immaculate condition and try to give us all a complex.  :giggle:  :giggle:

@ Serial Crasher Having been living with the species from Venus all these years, we know for sure your hanger and work space can never get messier enough to win this. It is next to impossible   >:D >:D :giggle: :giggle:. Thanks to that species all our Hanger makes sense whenever they are in good mood.  ;) yeah but there are other times too  :'(  ;D

Schooner kept in a glass cage...

umayash1

Here is mine, not that messy, But thought worth sharing it..
STOP Talking, START Flying!!

Serial crasher

@sandy only if my mom could hear your words.... ;D she would be super surprised ( shocked actually) .All I would say is Venus residents might still have a few surprises in store >:D

@Mr. Iyer the schooner be "Le Soleil Royal"  ;D
Landings are nothing more than controlled crashes

VC

That be no Schooner, methinks. It has multiple decks and a 104 gun battery. It begs to be referred to as a "1st. Rate Ship of the Line" or at least as a Frigate.

A Schooner is much smaller, faster craft, similar to a "Sloop of War''.

SS

Correct me  iam wrong

(a) your models aileron ? you need to look at it for correct mechanical trim abinitio
(b) Have you glued the wing permanently ?

PS
Some observations

This is a rented house
You both like to watch TV in the bedroom, in comfort of your ac
You have either a projector or a big TV

Girish has been mixing up with the wrong kind of people. Highly efficient people who make 24 models in a year and who possess immaculately clean and meticulously maintained work spaces.

I am pretty much adult(e)rated with cleanliness now VC ... :giggle: :giggle: ... Those 24 x 7 gents suggest no more kidding in the workshop...

Serial crasher

@VC true that !  :salute:

@Gutsy

a) will probably need to put the servos in neutral position and then adjust ailerons before maiden . Is that what u meant ?
B) not glued the wings still need to sand down the carbon fibre rod to stick in the wings. Was thinking of using a fibre glass tape so can be opened if required. Any suggestions?

Sherlock's deduction is not 100% correct . Adulteration of the 21st century I guess ;D
Between curious explain how this was deduced . >:D
Landings are nothing more than controlled crashes

ponappa

@Serial - do not glue the wings, cos it will become difficult to transport the surfer. Use the fibre tape its the best.

Here's my mess

Other than the Mess what always amazes me about us aeromodellers is ; no matter how bad or big Your Mess - Only you can find your way around it !
