After relocating to Bangalore, I shifted to a flat where space was at a premium. So my hobby stuff got squeezed out to one of the balconies. The hobby room is therefor narrow and longish. It took a lot of imagination and space saving procedures to build a comfortable work space. A video tour is below

The tools are mostly arranged on sliding drawers

Wow, that's some serious space management.
Good Job

Sanjay sir, the Supra Fly is underway, and the larger space allows better repair of existing ones.

I see an airbrush compressor Baijal Sir.  That's one neat workstation.

Most excellent, Ashok-ji!  :hatsoff:

Really well organized, with optimal utilization of space.

Now you just need one more item - some Corro planes  :giggle:

Thanks Bhavesh Girish, Col and Sanjay ji. Managing in a limited space was challenging but the end result was worth the effort I now have lots of storage and workspace with every item having a space earmarked. Incidently I had to dump a few models which were not my favourites to make space.

Yes Col,its a compressor for my airbrush. However waiting for the water filter to arrive as the vendor from whom I had bought the compressor swiped it out before sending it.

Sanjay ji, I had tried Coro models in the 90s. India Hobby Centre used to sell Coro kts. One free flight coro Cessna is still lying with me. Planning to convert it to electric RC sometime soon. Coro is a very nice material but first I need to find a store which sells it. Finding a parking space near the city market is a nightmare. Once I lay my hands on the stuff then I would certainly be building a few Coro models.

Where did you say you live Sir? Maybe I can break into and steal away those balsa stack!! :giggle:

ashok baijal

I'll pm my address, but then I will have to remain awake 24*7 to guard my stock  :o Most of it is old stock collected when LHS were not there. Now the prices have crashed and balsa is no longer a scarce item. Need to build a few models before I get too old for the hobby.  ;)

tantragna

Hahaha.. I agree the drought of balsa before the LHS'es then & now; things have changed radically! Keep it coming sir,  :)

A simple way to increase shelving rack capacity. Earlier was 16" depth, now 30"
