I am running a college AERODESIGN team which participates every year in the SAE AERODESIGN competition held at the USA.
For the same we require support and sponsorship for the Design and Fabrication of the RC Aircraft.
This time we are participating in 2 class- Regular Class and Micro Class.

Please help me out with the same.

If more details required please feel free to ping anytime.

@bk123,
Is this for a 25kg model that can take off in under 200ft with 1000watts power? (Regular class)

@bk123,
It seems to me that this is more like an 'experimental aircraft' project, than an 'aeromodelling' project. After all FAI recognises only upto 5kg as a model airplane!

I suppose that you cannot accept technical inputs from outsiders, so it is only funding that you can accept!

Considering the entry fee of USD 1000, the USA travel costs of 3-4 members, the cost of building 2-3 prototypes etc, I guess you'll need 5-10 lacs!

For that kind of money, you'll probably need a Corporate sponsor.
(Not an individual RCI member)
Best of luck in finding one.
Regards.
