Stay Safe people ... recently I know of a modeler based out of india who was testing a engine which he had mounted on the wall instead of a test bench .. the wall gave way and the prop hit him on his face .... the injuries I cannot even think of describing .... be careful ... be smart
Can't even imagine the situation.
situation is fractures and ripped flesh its horrible :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
any heli with size 450 and above have a potential to severely injury or kill a human. They should impose restrictions on flying large size helis in public. I dont have guts to stand in a closed room with a 450 at 3000rpm..
450-500wont kill u .600-700 will
by the way new rules imposed after this incident ...all fight maneuvers must be performed 7m from the pilot nothing close ..and rpm for 700 size should not be more than 2200 rpm some peopl4e fly 700s at 2400-2500 :banghead: :banghead:....proper checks of model prior to flight .....
700 in the hands of a Newb is definitely a killling machine. Dont know whether this guy was a newb or experienced. Sad anyways to hear that
it is weird tht he was flying alone and a 700is very dfficult to crash in the hands of an experienced pilot .......but god knows wat was he trying tht he actually killed himself with tht
This kind of hobby is very attractive .Any beginner who can afford a 700 can easily but it from online stores and end up killing someone which can also result Ban on this hobby :banghead:
I think LOCAL HOBBY STORES should introduce Proper Training and Guidance for the beginners to help them in selecting a Good Model and help them in there learning process . This will not only save money but also precious lifes.
This is not the first time anyone got killed . Also if you are not ready to perform basic things or 3D stunts , then don't even try it.
Even if you are experienced pilot , there is always room for error .
dhruv u know now u should not fly ;D ;D ;D
hehe not ready for 3D yet but I'm not a Die hard fan of 3D either .
na u dint get me i ment u should not fly the big boy
Hahaha I see . I think I can handle the big boy ;)
Dhruv has quite a bit of time to practice before big boy ;D
My first heli will be my last one :)
