Hi all,

Its been a long time now (19th Sept for me  :() since i have flown or seen a rc plane flying around because of CWG  :banghead: in Delhi/NCR. I would like all of you to come forward and help me putting RC flying as a sport in game events. What is the first step?  Help me or I am going to sell all my RC equipment.

Thx & Regds.
When you fly electric, fly clean, fly quiet, and fly safe!

Patience is a virtue ;)  More so in this "hobby" (not a "game") !

but anwar sir i agrree to him to some extent.. word over RC modelling is a sport rather than just being a hobby and its been given due respect as an aero sport.
Its only our irony that its considered just a hobby by all the offices and even many of us call it as a hobby only... if it was just a hobby there wouldnt have been international championships for this sport...

ofcourse i am not advocating to sell the stuff or fight to get it to CWG but yaa we should start it by atleast respecting it as a sport and keeping the required discipline that should be maintained ...

Not sure if RC is a sport world over either.  More like a community event.  A lot more collaboration than competition at the grass roots level (as compared to other games).
