Cut and paste of entire sections is generally not a good idea, as it is generally frowned upon, and one major reason is copyright issues.  Guess that is what rckatty is also concerned about.

So yes, a link would have been better.

Without touching the link or copy/past debate, I vouch for the fact that such training guides / manuals are good to have. Good job Jerry (for the content)

And if is these can be compiled in to a resource library on the forum - sone pe suhaga :)

That springs up an idea anwar, if copy rights are not an issue, is it possible to start a section where manuals or RC stuff, categorised well can be archived. Contributions could come from users of these items. This is because a lot of after market sales of items do not come with manuals.

jerry

There are no copy right issues. This is from a public information website of an rc club near me... cheers

Just because it is not a password protected site does not mean that it is truely public. Usually the "Terms of Service" or "Usage Policy" of most sites would clarify that many material posted should not be reproduce without explicit permission.

In this case, I am not sure what the terms of usage for the original location are, but RC India does not encourage any violation of such terms of usage (or any sort of plagiarism)  ;)

Commendable idea

The issue I see is the burden of getting *total confirmation* that the original owner has no issues with us posting this information here.  That is not as simple as it seems.

The website I got from says that they got it from another website. But the original website is no longer available :(
