Sir, grateful to you for this.

Certain points to be noted about this article. Perhaps we were misunderstood, Simul wood was never mentioned as a "Perfect substitute". Mr. Musawir Mustafa was always a brilliant student and did not attempt and "fail to clear the tests". He didn't join / couldn't join the IAF, for entirely different reasons.

Nevertheless, we are thankful to the Assam Tribune and the reporter, Mr. Goswami, for this excellent article.

Thanx VC.
There was another mistake in the article, as readers might have noticed, - the principle of lift was wrong.
As for myself, I always wanted to be an engineer and a scientist :headscratch:!! But for the love of flying - to avail the facility of flying in NCC I appeared in the PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) and cleared it with 90%+ grade; but due to my poor eye sight I didn't pursue a career in flying and wasn't interested in takeing a ground job either in the IAF!! This made me switch to RC. This fulfills both my passion - R&D (read Research & DESTRUCTION) and flying.

Greatguns as in the CL model??? I guess I am going to love (in the aeromodelling hobby sense) you if you have that as your handle here
If you are really into scale you should be here. www.rcscalebuilder.com

Great Guns (Musawir Sir) is a classic aeromodeller himself who has won numerous aeromodelling prizes and awards, pan India. Unfortunately, he is a humble man of few words and I am a man of very little action. I am his spokesperson and I let him do all the work. We get along rather well.  :giggle:

Whow, Why I missed the post?

Congratulation Vikramda and Musawirda.

As grategun is expert in electronics, Can I Talk with him as he has the knowledge in electronics and Simultaniously RC Expert to make out low cost Tx+Rx ? But as Chinese materials coming out very cheap and spreading so quickly like hobby, I dont know how relevent it will be.

However, making a uc based or 4017 based Tx, and uC based Rx that can drive directly servo (Infact magnatic actuator with Coil) and small coreless motor with PWM Signal from uC) can be used with IR link and will be very cheap (Of course Made In India). (I Think withen 400Rs.)

It is a dream to make complete control gear assembly with Tx+Rx + motor indigenously to me.

I Got Inspired with your post.Do I have any role to play?

Props can also be made in manual ball press in toy manufacturing unit with nylon granules that costs less (Even for rubber powered too) and of course with balancing or balancing may be a class in workshop. Even, I have made wooden prop with Icecream stck, CA and file (Again Icecream stick with sandpaper sticked on it.). Making and Balancing (Specially dynamic) is really nice and little tough job as hand sanded.

Can We spread this hobby by making it cheaper?, Unitedly.

Do I have any work to support you and your dream (my dream too), I will be obliged by helping. Of course there are others who can also help, but scattered in Kolkata, I found during searching for materials.
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.
