Hello!
As the topic name suggests I want to start flying with a FPV setup on my Bixler/s, so what should I buy? I may also use the system for a future tri/quadcopter ???
I have a Turnigy 9X, no 2.4 GHz systems ofcourse! ;D
I also have some stupid questions-
Do all FPV setups transmit coloured video or not?
What are the ranges of a 100mw and a 200mw system?
What is the difference between PAL and NTSC cameras?
My budget is about 7K including the following-
Cam
Tx
Rx
Video device for live output (Goggles etc)
Power system
A simple OSD system
I prefer Hobby King , so if people can suggest me stuff from there it will be great!
Please help me in this topic as I am completely new to it! :help: :)
Thanks

And also the setup should be light weight!

Can these systems be used for FPV?

Hey prateek!
Pal stands for phase altrrnating line, and is commonly used for analog broadcasts upto 576i.... Ntsc stands for national television system committee, and is used for analog broadcasts in the USA (who love using a different protocol than the rest of the world) and a few other countries... I don't know how these affect fpv-ing, but this is the difference between the two... Ntsc broadcasts would lose their color, whereas pal broadcasts had no such problems....
Hope it helps!

IMO 1W tx is too much for FPV, better go with standard setup and when you gain experience upgrade your gear.
