The helicopter blade rotating so fast behave like a Gyroscope.  Any attempt to disturb the equilibrium they are in is quickly met with an angry response. The reaction is most unexpected to most people.  The reason for this is... the Gyroscope properties. i.e. Precision and Rigidity.  The disturbing force acts from a place 90 deg down the rotating direction and the entire disc shifts in an unexpected manner.  never take any kind of PANGA with a rotating helicopter blade.....

I believe this last picture is of a person who was injured by rotating propeller of a motor-boat.
I have seen this boat accident in news lately.

Anyway, we must never risk our lives.
