Dear Friends,

Being a newbie RC hobbyist and married I somehow cannot miss the fact on how much support we really need from our better halves to devote time to this hobby, starting from the small knick knacks in the house to the bigger ones which she does without being asked for and with all the happiness she shows while doing it.

It does means that she has to sacrifice her part of the "time together" while we are busy tinkering away with a model during the weekends and do what we love to do ..flying.

I know that some ppl who have worked it out together or share responsibilities too, like :

You fly on weekends so you make dinner as well or take her out.
You have dinner out with your hobby friends and she buys that purse
You buy a Tx and she gets a ring
You buy a plane and she gets a necklace
You shout "Pull..Pull..damn @#$%" in sleep and so you sleep on the sofa
You talk of weight control and C of G when she is around and you get an angry look
You forget her birthday but plan for a airshow so she calls her parents to give company for a month
You keep looking at a girl again and again and you can't convince your wife that it was only the Tx she is holding that you were interested in so she visits a massage parlour

Anybody out there had similar experiences ?

In all I do salute the leading ladies who in spite of what we are and who we are really make us complete  So a special thanks to all the Ladies and Gentle men A happy Christmas and a New Year.

Now I must go back and charge my wife's phone as my Tx's  LiPo charger is already beeping ..

@Mods : No pun intended but if what I wrote disturbs any one please edit /delete

Please don't be a woman and get jealous, but my last plane was a gift from the wife :D. Although I love flying but family always takes priority for me :D. Yes, she does tell me off if I'm in the workshop all day long building that new thing but then I would do the same, if she was on facebook or shopping all day long...Yes I do salute all the ladies for their patience and understanding.
