It is great to see that we have hit 2000+ members and 40000+ posts !  {:)}

Thanks to everyone who keep this forum an active place :bow:

I do see and feel the pain of some members who think there is more of one type of content versus another (like too much trade talk compared to pure modeling, more car talk than aircrafts, more ARFs than scratch builds etc etc), but it is up to the individuals to bring such topics up for discussions.

Although the topics change over time, everyone has to remember that YOU control the direction, others will not do it for you !!! :)

Awesome! Anwar Bhai.. Thank you so much for creating this forum! Its become such a integral part of our lives that not a single day goes by without me checking the forum (including from my cellphone if I have to).. And you can't help it if there is too much trade talk.. As without trade talk there is no trade and without trade there is no RC.. Its thanks to the sellers on the forum that I can enjoy my hobby in such a small budget :)

Firstly - Congrats to Anwar Sahab  :bow: and the other senior members who created and sustained this forum. Well done! {:)}

Now for the sweepstake criteria - If I may suggest the following:

How about giving it to a person who has logged in the maximum number of hours since joining and has the highest number of posts? Mr. Sai can't qualify as he can't gift the set to himself, it has to go to the person who is second in line and Mr. Sai already has my address! Just le me have the tracking number. Thanks! ;D ;D ;D

OK, we will give it to a lucky winner from among the folks who have at least 5 posts on RCI in December 2010 ;)

As usual, hobby shops and myself excluded !

It feels bad to be neglected and ignored like this..... :'( :( >:(

 ;D

was thinking  why not  restrict it to members who joined in nov and dec 2010 with minimum 5 posts in dec.

there might be a better chance of a beginner getting it rather than those who already have a radio.

Why not give 6 channel instead, it will be useful for others too :giggle:

i think criterion should be based on data already available. data collected after declaring the criterion should be not considered in the criterion. i hope i am making sense  8-)

Mr. Sai, you ARE right - it should go to a newbie / someone who is in real need of a radio. :thumbsup:

Foamybuilder - Let's not look a gift horse in the mouth. Let's just be grateful that Mr. Sai has made such a magnanimous gesture and has offered a radio as a gift.

The way I see it playing out... if it is won by a non-beginner who already has a radio, I would expect the winner to show his commitment to RC (and humanity) by passing it on.  A new winner will be picked :)

Sai - Some one suggested that all effort should be taken to help make this item go to a beginner, and it can be somewhat easily achieved if the draw is limited to people who specifically express interest in this item.  I will start a new topic to this effect.
