A forum member a voluntarily submitted the following designs for possible use on RC India. Thank you :thumbsup:

I see the font choice is not very good on all of them, compared to the font we are using now. It is very "light/thin".  But that is something that can be easily changed.

Mr. Anwar, are you changing the logo of rcindia? On the design 1, 4 and 5 I can see new logo, but design 2 and 3 has same old logo.

Nope, no logo change has been planned... yet !

Design 1: Basically for the 'Ribbon-Tab' and excellent looking  Top banner (Just change the Radio to some futeristic one. The one there is too basic).

If you can blend the 'Grey' background  from Design 2 in the outward margin area and those in 'Table Separator', it would be good. Too flashy florescent 'Green' theme hits to the eyes during prolong viewing (I am Bash Shell/Emacs fan) And also attracts undue attention from bystanders esp in Office kind of environment.

Design 2 with a carbon fiber background ;D

I don't like any of the designs, but thats just a matter of personal choice. Whatever theme is selected; i'd like to suggest using a flexible width theme. Already the current theme utilizes only 60% of my screen and the new themes are even narrower.

i like the 4th one very soothing to my eyes  :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I guess this is the 10th time this is being addressed.  I am a heli guy, and there is no heli in the logo ;D  Basically I went with the most common RC craft. 

+1 for the first one..really like it..also would like to suggest to move the username and password text fields to top of the page instead of being at bottom.

Still mr anwar, cars are very popular all over india, but still havent found a place and repo here, i think we should rather show something like radio both stick n pistol

"There is no prize for being second" is what I thought would work best :)  Or you can consider it democracy with majority opinion, which I am myself a victim of being a heli flyer!  There are tons of toy helis being flown around.

And if you mean "rapport" by the word "repo", you could not be farther from the truth !

First one looks refreshing. Font size on the current setup is comfortable. Please do not change the current logo - its simple and neat.

like the 2 one

start page should be low bandwidth frendly like gprs connection
2 and 3 opened faster on a gprs connection than the other ones

The first one minus the green background with some other more eye-soothing one.

I prefer gray over green thats eye hurting in the first layout  ;D.

status quo,

existing layout, customizable theme and you are good to go

# All of them good as they don't have tweet. The tweet takes a little
   bit extra time to load but long data transfer than previous. I would
   request to reconsider the tweet option as how many times tweeted
   the threads of the forums!

# All Car/Plane/Heli/Boat/Ship/Hovercraft may be kept but I recomend
   the old Logo as some fans already published in Tee's & Caps.

# I suggest optional settings/Themes that can be selected by user.

# The smoky fumes of plane looks grate and similarly slightely checkered

For me A simple looking forum to load quick and columned write-ups
with current logo that fits good for forum and default page with starter
option.

The tweet stuff is added dynamically to any design.  It loads sort of independent of the rest, so any delay should just only be an eye sore.

I think people should use it more, especially on Facebook.  It is a great way to spread the word about the forum.

The new theme will be a selectable one, with the current one being retained.

Design 4 gives a nice uncluttered feel .......

I have a new preference. Incorporate the plane in the banner in design 1 to the right of the logo in the banner in design 4 and keep the rest as in design 4.
