Hello Guys! I have been working on an Arduino based Quadcopter. I have used A2212/6T 2200kv motors, 1045 props and 30A esc from the following link on amazon https://www.amazon.in/Invento-ESC1045-Brushless-2200Kv-Propeller/dp/B01MZFNLEA/ref=sr_1_7?crid=35CU57X161MOG&keywords=30a+esc&qid=1644041049&sprefix=30a+es%2Caps%2C296&sr=8-7. I have configured the Arduino board and calibrated the ESC's. Whenever I arm the drone all motor start spinning but one of them has more speed then the other and within 4-5 sec the 1 or 2 motors stop and start beeping while others keep spinning. I am using LIPO 35-3s battery pack. Can someone tell me what's going wrong with my configuration.

@Sunveer,

Welcome to the forum.

The problem is of prop and kv (rpm per volt) mismatch (I presume you are using a 3s lipo) leading to overload on the motors.

1. The 2212 2200kv needs a small prop like 6x3, due to high rpm

2. A 10x4.5 prop, being much larger, needs a lower kv 2212, like the 1000kv version

Replacing four props is far cheaper than replacing four motors. So you can try that first.

But high kv/small prop will be significantly less efficient (especially in a quad) than low kv/ large prop.

Best wishes.

CAUTION
In Jammu you may be in trouble if you try to fly in a public place.
Stay within your own compound till you read the DGCA rules for drones.

@Sunveer,

Wait. Don't waste your money.

For our hobby stuff there are many online hobby stores in India to buy from, rather than Amazon.in (where prices are quite random)

In this forum there is a 'Mega list of all RC outlets...'  Look at it.

Perhaps the oldest Indian source for quads is Quadkopters.com. See their site.
The owner Mr Satyagupta is the right person to guide you.
I can't share his phone number, but he is an old member of this forum.
On the home page of RCINDIA select 'Members', then 'Search for members' and type satyagupta.
Then send him a personal message, asking for his advice/suggestions

Give these details:
1. Present motors, Escs, props, lipo and controller
2. Size and weight of your quad
3. Problem faced

In fact if you post these details in this thread, you may get suggestions from others too.

@Sunveer,

Verify first whether it is an overload issue, by removing all props and checking if the motors respond properly.

Hello, thanks for the reply! I removed the props and everything seemed fine except sometimes one of the motors would stop after some time. I don't know what to do. I borrowed 630 props from a friend and even after using the motors are unable to keep spinning and stop sometimes after the arming or sometimes after increasing the thrust to a certain level. maybe it's a motor or an ESC issue. What do you think??

Thank you! I will surely check it out :)

@Sunveer

Saw the video.

The motor at the bottom stopped and also juddered

This is an almost sure sign of a poor solder joint between the Esc and motor, or a patial break in one of the wires.

So please resolder all the bullet connectors, starting wuth this motor.

Best of luck.
