And we are back.

Put a hack in so that the "For Sale" and "Wanted" boards do not show up in the "Recent Topics" list and also on the home page.

Hopefully this would help reduce the larger than needed visibility for classifieds activities on the forum.  Anyone who wants to see the For Sale and Wanted boards can go look there manually.

I am getting some feedback that the "Wanted" board's visibility should not be reduced, as it may affected newcomers trying to get into the hobby on the cheap etc.

Thinking of bringing the "wanted" board back into the Recent Topics list... Comments ?

exactly Anwar sir, i was also thinking about no one specially goes to see the wanted section; if it will be in recent topic it will be easy for the one who want something to catch a seller.

I agree

I also think we could have a separate "recent wanted and for sale " alike the recent posts list maybe at the end of the page...

That is a good idea.  Let me see if I can code this up over the weekend.

As everything has advantages and disadvantages, Lets see...
At least the difference between other business oriented forum with us clearly visible now. I was thinking to avoid some problem and now the solution is applied. Good decision.

Thanks for the modification Anwar. With very hectic schedule, I could not manage the time for past couple of months, but this modification gives us the liability to flourish more with our build ups. Grate, lets post more boys...
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

Very good decision for the for sale board. But change the wanted board please let it come to the recent post list

This was a good idea, but a little too involved in terms of code (all the caching code for a second list and so on) and my current free time did not allow for this luxury.

So took the shortcut of adding the "Wanted" board back into the Recent Topics list.
