Is it possible to control 10 edfs with thrust of 45kg each powered by 10 16000mah 22s batteries in a single circuit.

 :help:Anyone please clarify my doubt.
Hope anyone of you will help me.
Please !!

Perhaps this helps.

So you might have to grab those 80v motors. The compatible ESCs you have to find out.... rip them apart ... resolder them on a single PCB and run. You may also follow High Current PCB design principles.

But what you want to fly... your car ??  8-)

Hi Kaushik S!
Welcome to the forum!

We need a little more details, what exactly do you have in mind, Are you working on a multi rotor, fixed wing or a hover board?

We would like to know what system currently you using as well like edf spec sheets, ESC spec sheet and even lipo spec sheet.

Based on this we could give a better opinion!

Btw a B52 uses 8 engines or 8 edfs :P

Hello
Battery specs -

18 cell

8000mah

EDF specs -
Max. Thrust range: 150N

Max. Exhaust speed range: 112m / s

Max. RPM range: 40,000 RPM

Max. Input power: 12kW

Max. Motor diameter 58mm

Shaft diameter: 8mm \ 10m

Allowable battery: 12S - 18S 5000 / 10,000 + mAh

Controller allowed (ESC): 160A - 300A

Overall efficiency: 77%.

Kaushik S

If I use 10 engines
The total rpm will be

400000rounds/min

And thrust will be
290-300newtons

Mohammed Naveed

What's your application?

Kaushik S

What application you are describing

Mohammed Naveed

Not sure what you mean,
I would say go with a turbine instead, would be more economical

Kaushik S

No way
Its ok I can manage with costs
I don't want to be a source of air pollution

Kaushik S

Please tell me the solution for 10 edf controls

Hello Kaushik,

We all would love to help you but before that I think it's necessary to give us some more info as the others have pointed out.

Kaushik S

If you tell me the info you need.
It will be quite easy.

@kaushik s,

Here are some thoughts for your consideration.

1. A typical model edf will produce 2.5gms of thrust per watt
2. So 45kg thrust may need 20000 watts
3. On 80v, that's 250 amps
4. A 16Ah Lipo can provide that, if it is rated 15C

This is just preliminary loud thinking, okay.

@kaushik s ,

I'm curious as to why you need to use 10 EDFs together!
Are you making a wind tunnel or maybe a bigger Soviet Ekranoplan?
Even the AN-225 has 6 engines   ;D
