Forum does not take us to the Posted page

Hi Anwar,

From what I have seen, as soon as we post reply on a thread, instead of being taken to the posted page, it redirects us to the main topic page.
I have used many forums, be it RC, Comps, Electronics etc. But all of them take us to the posted page, This allows us to see how our reply looks after posting. With what I have experienced, even after seeing the preview and posting, we end up reading the posted post again to find any mistake and edit them.

Can this settings be changed? What do others have to say about this setting? Should it be changed?

Try one more time, I have reset this option for everyone.

Basically this is something you can set for yourself. In your "Profile" (http://www.rcindia.org/profile), choose "Look and Layout Preferences" from the menu on the left, and enable the option that says "Return to topics after posting by default".

Vinay -  I just realized of another possibility.  With this forums software, it only allows you to go back to either the "Board" or the "Topic", and NOT to the "Post" that was just made.

So if you have made a reply to a thread that has 3 pages already and your latest reply is on page 3, you will still be redirected to page 1 *in the same topic" when you enable the above option.

If you wanted to return to the post just made, it needs custom code, and I will check if anyone has a "mod" for that.

Now its working. But didnt try the 3 page thingy.
