RC India

Today, March 9th,  marks the first birthday of RC India !  The site was registered, and the forum software installed on this day, a year ago.  After some design changes, and setup tweaking, it was announced to the world a day or two later.

16000+ posts, 1700+ topics and 700+ members later, it has been a very rewarding (and humbling) experience so far.  I take this opportunity to thank each one of you who have suffered through the "openness" here  ;D  I am sure part of it was unbearable to some, but hey, we tried something different... and it works for the most part !

Once again... be who you are, disagree while still respecting individuals, learn, share and care....  for many more years to come :thumbsup:

Once again congrats on completing a very successful 1ST Year.

For me, the biggest reward was realizing "how much I needed to learn" !  I started with rating my "RC Skills" as "Expert" (why not, I knew at an "expert" level everything there is to know about "assembling" helis and flying them... or so I thought).  I finish the year up with "downgrading" myself to "Advanced" :D

If everything works right, I should end up with "Intermediate" next year :giggle:

What better reward can one ask for :)

Best wishes to RCIndia. In deed, this is one of the most active forums. Everyday its like 3 - 4 pages in the recent posts section. I could hardly find time to go over every topic. Nowadays I just skim though only the first 2 pages of recent posts... Good going RCIndia..

Sorry RC, don't be with me. I have been warned about my "over enthusiastic exuberance" - so don't join me!

Wild Enthusiasm is not really appreciated here. Right now, there are some people logged on who have not bothered to wish the forum a Happy Birthday. I wonder, have they missed the post or are they simply taking this forum for granted? Anwar Sahab created this forum and has maintained it due to his love of the hobby. Each one of us has benefited, free of charge, from this wonderful forum! I for one, rediscovered a dormant passion after nearly 20 years thanks to www.rcindia.org. The least that we can do is celebrate our first birthday. There should be 715 members posting on this thread alone. So far, only 12 have done so.
