how can someone buy or sell in this forum?

are we supposed to deposit the money in some1s account? and if the instrument comes faulty?

madaquif

I have bought some things from some fourm members.....almost all of them are in working condtion..

Usually you can ask for pics and working vids of the instuments.
make sure of shipping costs before hand

Check for the number of posts by tht particular person........i think 300 and above should be a ideal numba.

Also be sure to check the following thread before dealing with SOME BEAWARE people... >:D
http://www.rcindia.org/for-sale/beware-of-dealing-with-these-people/

once you have made your mind to buy some thing....
ask for account number and banking information on PM. and send your address on PM

The Seller would ship the Item....and provide you with the tracking details.:)

Sr fourm members plz correct if Im wrong....

i totally appreciate your response but we can never take such risks for large transactions (5000 or above)
and what even if the product is not desirably good?
we don't have any other option

1. Click on the seller's name and see his profile. It shows his trade reputation.
2. Check how long he has been a member.
3. Check his post statistics. Does he post only sales threads or other topics too. In other words is he a vendor or a modeller selling items occasionally.
4. Is he on the 'beware' list?

Also see the forum rules. Click on 'new to this hobby' and then on 'guidelines for classified sales'

Not all sellers here are professionals. Some are people like you and me, who have been in the hobby along time, and have outgrown their previously purchased equipment. This is why no Pay-Pal or Paisa-Pay, when purchasing from these people.
If you receive a faulty item, I'm sure the seller would rectify the issue, if not you learn not to purchase from that seller in future.

This is an expensive hobby, if you plan to take it seriously. So when making purchases, do your home work. Don't buy some thing and then find out you don't need it. I have made a few purchases from members on this forum, some purchases were for over 5K, deposited into personal account. I found these persons extremely  helpful and honest. As the above posts say check the seller out.
At the end of the day no one is forcing you to buy. This is not your only option to buy RC merchandise. There are many foreign online stores who ship to India, but it is time consuming and costly. The choice is yours.
