@anwar sir,

A couple of years back, when the forum was flooded with sales msgs, you agreed to stop such posts from appearing on the main page.

Now we are flooded with queries relating to customs and delivery delays.

Can we please have these on a separate board that DOES NOT APPEAR ON THE MAIN PAGE?

Queries regarding customs, though doubtless important to the poster, can hardly be of interest to the rest of the members. Unless, of course, I'm totally mistaken, and this is what most readers are interested in!

I think that nowadays there are barely 3-4 posts relating to the hobby aspects every day.
The rest are all about imports stuck in customs.

Kindly consider this plea sympathetically. You may have noticed that many of the active modellers have stopped participating.

Seconded. Even worse most of the customs queries have nothing to do with RC modelling.

The forum is being downgraded to one on Customs, not RC

I agree too. In addition, most queries can be answered with 2 mins. of searching the internet or the forum.

Ajay Sarwan

I agree. And Also propose a separate section for buyer seller disputes.

What i think is, after we create a separate customs thread, no one will reply to anyone new there. Then all the non-RC people will get impatient and start posting in the chatter zone. What's the solution to that?
It's a good idea though.
We can ask all the new people to provide a reason for joining. They can only join once approved by a senior. They can be asked to view the customs thread (which will be free to view for guests) as a guest instead.

For posting in wrong threads we have adminstrators

After a long time, not a single post about customs/courier for two entire days.
Only two sales posts and ten related to the hobby.
What a relief!
