I appreciate the efforts you guys have put in to form a community of RC enthusiasts, hobbyists and professionals in India. RC India is a very valuable forum, and I would personally love to see it to grow.
I had a concern that I wish to raise to your technical team. I recently noticed that plain text passwords are sent in the confirmation email. This means that passwords for all registered are users are being stored in plain text in some database. In case of a breach, this puts all of RC India users at great risk. Most users use the same password over other services, and can lead to huge impact.
I request your team to please encrypt the passwords as soon as possible. While I'm sure it won't be necessary, I'll be willing to provide any assistance you need in this matter.
