Ok,that elicited no response from the Administrator,perhaps he logged out as it was posted.

Regarding Hobby King products (except ARF / RTF kits which come in big packages), what would we be comfortable in paying? If the products were landed at our doorstep, anywhere in India, within 15 working days of our payment (no headaches about customs duties etc) what would we be ready to pay?

If someone offered to get it into India for us on the above terms, would "Product Price + EMS shipping + 30% of the composite" be Too High or Acceptable to us?  Example quoted below:

Product price $ 10 + EMS $ 3.5 - We pay $ 17.55 (130% of $13.5) and the product is delivered to our doorstep within 15 working days.

Is this equation acceptable or is it too high? Please vote.

All prices (for products and postage) will be on actuals as per the HK site.Total transparency guaranteed.

Any one who is a "Senior Member" can add polls to their topics, the "Add Poll" option should be available under "Topic tools" on the top right side of any thread.

It was only today that I restricted the ability to add polls to "Senior Member"s and above, since I see beginners posting polls which unfortunately does not make any sense, like in this one :(

One one hand, I am surprised at how impatient people have become ;)  I see the above response from VC, who could have waited for a few hours !  I also see "For Sale" threads that get bumped 3 times within 5 hours of being posted !!! :banghead:   Do people think others have nothing else to do, other than spend time on this forum ? :o

Regarding the question, please start another thread with a properly named poll (something like "Poll on local pricing") in "RC General Topics" or "RC Outlets and Resellers".  How to post a poll has already been responded to in the prior post.

It is disheartening to note this comment coming from the Administrator himself. I just felt that spending some time on www.rcindia.org was a better option.

Apparently you did not understand my point about patience, instead it is taken to a "worthiness of this forum or the time spent on it" perspective :) I am cool either way ;)

I was just noticing how impatient people have become in general ! I am here, and you are here at this hour, so it is not me and you specifically, it is ALL OF US !  As much as me and you like being on this forum, expecting the same of others and their response to questions posted at your (or my) convenience is an entirely different matter !

I think this thread is polluted, so please remove the poll, and start a new thread with a proper name as suggested above.  The pricing question/poll would be an interesting subject.  I have one big comment to make on that one.

As far as thread deletion/edition is concerned, it is your call Sir. I can't do it. ???

Yes, my call (suggestion, rather) is that we move the pricing question to another thread with a poll.  Please do post one, with a better name than just "Poll".

Nice thread, even I wanted to know how to create polls! I will turn this forum into RCPOLLS.org for sure!  ;D There should be an option to show who voted on what. If "checked" by poll creator should allow all registered people to see who voted on what.

Interesting thought !  Wonder if polls should be public !  By nature, they are kind of personal (most of the time) :headscratch:

consider the thumbs and pinch thread as an example for public polls.

Since senior members are allowed to create the polls, we assume they have "responsibility" to choose if its public or not. And public polls would need mods permission. what say?

I have requested VC to create a separate poll in another board, so please don't vote on this one.

This thread started off with "how to create a poll", and then went into my rant on "people being impatient" and so on.  Just not clean for a serious discussion about pricing.

I would request some other members to take the initiative.

DO we need a poll on this really? Hk is the cheapest and has a high VMF factor, unless your luck is bad with customs.  :)
