All the children posting here are a joke. This is between Himadri and Roby.

Can we get some admin/mod input? Is the forum not equipped with admins or mods to settle disputes?

Gentlemen - Let us be realistic.  It has been made clear on the trader rules that any transaction is between two individuals, and every care must be taken by BOTH parties to ensure a smooth deal.  This means sellers posting clear accurate descriptions and very recent pictures of the actual items, especially clarifying any defects on the items. Buyers on the other hand have to ask any questions before sending the money, and both parties are expected to apply common sense in terms of generating and preserving "evidence" if there is a dispute. After all, the deal is between complete strangers who are often far away from each other.

Note that there have been many thousands of successful transactions here since 2009. It is quite rare that we run into issues/conflicts.  Except for thehobbyshop.in which seems to be confirmed frauds based on repetitive feedback here (and I am wondering why no one took real legal action on them yet), people are generally good at heart, and we are a community bound by a common bond, with a positive outlook.

Now the question of what is expected of the admins when there is a dispute...  we are not the CBI to analyze evidence and question members.  Especially in this case when there is so much back and forth.  We will take action if someone uses foul language etc, but otherwise, please use the justice system of our great nation to settle disputes. Expecting us to play judge, jury and executioners on such issues is just not practical.

Personally I believe in the inherent good in people, and any gains from dishonesty is short lived.  Payback from the Power(s) or Nature, whatever you believe in, does catch up to each one of us....  sooner than later these days.

Maintaining multiple accounts and that fact being proven beyond doubt is reason enough for getting both accounts banned immediately.

Sorry if my comment came across as hostile or aggressive, it was very annoying to see 4-5 members not involved in the trade giving biased opinions about it.

You're right that it's not possible for admins to play judge and jury in every dispute, but like you said there are very few occurrences with most trades being successful.

Is there no way to create a section specifically for disputes? Keep everything in one section so it's easier for mods to keep an eye on it?
