Cowl was not fitting on the F4J Phantom. Engine too big for the cowl to fit in. And Subaru had some low speed needle problem so had to remove the cowl at the field for tuning.

If your engine did not fit in the cowl I think your engine is too big for your plane too! Or is it that you want to say that the engine did not fit in the cowl without cutting the cowl?

ideally this plane is designed for 46 engine.. but we did not want to take pain to fit the cowl.. :P also, the cowl had to be trimmed a lot to fit... we decided to fly without the cowl for a few test flights....maybe Jack (Vinod) will put it later...
Cheers!!!
