Hello forum readers,

I have been reading a lot about planes and helis and cars and almost everything RC here, but rarely found any thread where RC hobbyists converted their 450 sized helis into scale birds, I know and understand that the 3D maneuverability will be vanished after going scale but the joy of having something look like the real thing is different, there are so many fliers who have scale Planes but are capable of aerobatics, but helicopters cant do that, maybe in rare cases.
rotor India guys sell cobra fuselages which are pretty much plug and play after an initial investment of around 2 to 3 hours and the outcome is one real looking helicopter, or some people interested can get these fuselages from overseas hobby artists costing anything from $30 to $400
The best places to get these scale looking fuselages is from a guy in US who ships them internationally for a good shipping price too..
I got my 450 scale fuselage shipped for $45.
I am currently doing the retracts and the internal rest for the electricals of my heli and will post pictures as soon as I complete my project, which sadly is in December, but till then, all I can do is wait and see some forum guy going scale...
