Hello guys,
I'm pretty new to rc and bought my first set of ESCs for my quad:Emax BLheli 30a.
I don't have the motors yet,so decided to check the ESCs.I got the multimeter into continuity check and found out that it( multimeter) beeped on the input of ESCs.all of them beeped.I'm quiet worried so please help me.I have the fear of my battery getting short so help me.
Thanks :)

It's really good that you tested your ESC before connecting them to battery (something to add to our checklists).

1. There are 4 wires input to ESC, 2 for power and 2 for signal. Where exactly do you find the continuity?

2. Is the same behavior observed in all the ESCs?

3. I understand that the ESCs are brand new. But, did you do any kind of soldering on them? Or are they just stock, out of the box?

I did the continuity with the battery to ESC input.People say its normal due to 7805 voltage requlator. But I still feel I might damage the battery.

Can you please answer my above questions for a better understanding. Did you check the continuity with battery connected?(you should not).

What is normal with 7805? Any working voltage regulator will not short its input and output.
