AMA PROGRESS

1.We had a successful event at Pinjore in October 2012,undisturbed flying for two days,with beautiful hills in the background.Chandigarh also has good hotels and great food,so this year we plan to use the same venue for the event in Oct.2013,final dates to be announced.

2. We have appointed Mr.M.R.K.Menon of Aero-Sports as the Director Aeromodeling Education.

3.AMA and Aero-Sports have announced five annual awards of Rs.5000.0 ,Plus one year membership of AMA,plus a Certificate ,Plus a momento of AMA to achievers in the field of Aeromodeling amongst the school and college students to encourage young achievers in this field.

4.AMA has offered a sponsorship of one member every year to the Aamby Valley event to an extent of Rs.15000.0 to encourage members to participate/visit the event and witness the international flyers and their awesome flying machines.

5.The membership of AMA has crossed 275 and increasing every day.

6.AMA has provided Aeromodeling equipment consisting of an ARF model/engine/ servos/batteries/RC equipment to three regions-Delhi /Pune/Punjab for free training to new comers.These have provided to us by the Aero Club of India.More are expected and would be positioned at other regions.

7.We sponsored an event at the MNNIT Allahabad and are participating in the Tchkriti13 at IIT Kanpur.

8.We have been invited by the Banasthali Vidyapeeth in Rajasthan to help them start an aeromodeling club.The University is an all girls institute ,which has an airfield and Cessna/CTLS aircraft and provides flying training.

9.We have participated in raising days and training seminars of the National Disaster Management Authority,National Disaster Response Force,National Security Guards,and the Special Action Group.

10.This year twelve students of various institutes-IITK,Bangalore etc have applied for our membership for participating in the SAE competitions in the USA,where our ID card is recognised and they do not require to hire a core pilot from the US.

11 .AMA is guiding students from the Delhi Technical students in their UAV project and the students of Maharaja Agrasen college of Engg. In their projects.

12.With the active support of members, AMA has succeeded in meeting our goals of Aims and Objectives laid out in our Charter within a short period of three years and will continue to promote aeromodeling actively at all levels and all states of India.

Aims & Objectives

•   To create a sense of brother hood, co-operation, mutual harmony, love and affection amongst the members of the association and amongst the General public.

•   To facilitate the existing member hobbyist to pursue their activities.

•   To ensure safety of flyers and third parties.

•   To introduce a code of discipline amongst the faculty members conducive to better quality of flying.

•   To promote the growth of the sport and hobby of model flying and other associated activities.

•   To organize events and such other programs which might earn cognizance, acceptability and respect at the national and international level of the body to corporate.

•   To encourage suitable candidates to participate on national level and international competitive environments

•   To promote universal fellowship in faculty of aeromodeling.

•   To accept donations, grants, presents, gifts and other offerings (in the shape of moveable or immovable properties) and the same shall be utilized for the promotion of Aims & Objectives of the above association

•   To make representation to various authorities of Government, Semi-Government on behalf of the members of the association.

•   To hold and to participate in conference, meetings, etc, for exchange of ideas and discussions of subject of the interest of the members of the association.

•   To assist newcomers to the hobby in selection of model/equipment and provide flying training free of charge.
