Once more, I would like to request everyone to help with building the "Mega list of flying locations in India" thread.

We are looking to compile an exhaustive list of RC fields all over the country, where at least some routine activity is taking place, and it is not completely private. Even if there is a club that charges a fee, that is fine.  It should be a place where someone new can go and interact with other experienced flyers, at least by prior appointment.

Note that we would like annotated maps as much as possible, so that it is clear how to get to the location, where to park, and where the flyers will usually stand while flying.

Who does one need to contact ?  Is there an active RC/aeromodelling club/group at NIT Calicut ?  Will someone from that group assist anyone seeking permission ?

yes there is a club named club unwired that looks upon the aeromodelling thing in our college

Although the title of this thread is a little misleading (my mistake!), we want to also list places where RC Cars are used frequently !

it is the ground in IIT madras.
The airshow and competitions  during  "Shaastra"( the technical event of iit M) took place at this ground. Infact i saw this very helicopter during the airshow and if i am not wrong ,i think it belongs to Mr Aravind of rotor chennai.
ps: the airshow there was one the reasons i am into RC planes now!

Thanks Anwar.. Yes, I had revised the listing and now it is published and available on google maps.
This certainly is a "call to action" for all to publish their fields on google map. This would surely help incase if you are visiting any other city, you can locate the field on google map on your phone and reach there.
