Hi All,
How to fly at Mahalaxmi Race Course mumbai? what is the procedure??? please help. thanku.
First take all the necessary things such as extra batteries , charger etc.
Then go to the place and then find the direction of the wind. Launch in the against the wind and fly. To fly at any place, you just ask the permission of the officials there. They will probably allow you if there is no activity going on there.

You obviously have not flown there. Do you know where it is?
It is a BAD idea to give unverified and misleading information to a newcomer, which may well land him in trouble
he asked the procedure before flying other than the place for flying.
His question was clear...procedure to fly at Mahalakshmi Race Course Mumbai...
And he needs info like any membership required for flying, whom to approach for membership, can one fly without membership, is there any entry restriction etc.
Anyone who flies there or has flown there may be be able to shed some light...
+1 Sanjay sir!

What's up with you?
You have to comment anywhere and everywhere!
In your PM to me, you said that you'll try to improve.
If you know about the specific field; mention it. Otherwise, its is none of your business.
The person would obviously know how to fly a plane and which direction to take off in.
Please try to improve.
Regards
PS: I am sorry that i respond aggressively to AL HAM SHARI in each and every post but i can't bear watching wrong information being passed to fellow aero-modellers. I am also sorry to say that i will continue to do this until the aforesaid forum member improves upon himself.
@mujjo91,
Mumbai flyers probably too busy to respond on a weekday!
Or they don't want any more newbies.
If no one tells you anything, just go there. Especially since you live nearby.
Around 9am on a Sunday.
I remember hiring a yellow black cab to go and wait there, just to see the action.
thank you kk iyer sir for your reply. i wil check this weekend
Just remembered something.
Flying used to start early and stop before the horses came.
So perhaps you should visit around 7-8am...
But that was some years ago.
With severe restrictions in the last two years, maybe no flying is allowed anymore.
I remember reading about an RC airfield about 30km away. Some island, maybe Madh...
Try to locate a local flyer, perhaps on facebook.
Another possible source of info is a small shop in Lamington Road called Hobby Centre or India Hobby Centre, run, I think, by an ex employee of the original India's Hobby Centre in Marine Lines.
Located it on Google by searching for
"india's hobby centre mumbai lamington road"
If you meet an old man there, tell him that you were sent by someone who bought an OS LA10 from him about 10 years ago (still in its box)
yes sir i know that shop and uncle too, i wil ask him whenever i go there again...
