Hi Folks,

One of my dear friend, Mr. Gopi from Hyderabad is in Delhi presently. He is a PPL and owns the "Flytech aviation", flying academy in Hyderabad. He wishes to visit any RC flying field this Saturday (July 31) or Sunday (Aug 01) in Delhi. He himself is an avid aeromodeller and currently working on his turbine model project. 

If there are some volunteers who could help him getting to the field, it would be great. He wishes to join for any of these days just as a spectator.

Since I am not acquainted with RC people in Delhi, would request anyone kind enough to guide him to the location.

my mob no 9958666996. I stay in Dwark near  Delhi airport. Do tell Gopi to get in touch, we fly near Metro stn Mundka, pillar no 535 on delhi - rohtak rd, and 14 km for Punjabi Bagh.
Would be a pleasure to have him over. the field is 1 km from metro stn, and if he can reach Mundka stn i will pick him up. Any idea where he would be staying.

Thanks a lot Ramesh. Really appreciate your help and time. I believe he would have a vehicle and would be meeting you at the field directly. All he would need would be some directions. I guess he is staying in Rajouri Garden.

Saurabh, Puneet,
Gopi could not come today for flying as it was raining, but we guys being mad went anyway and were at the field by 7.15, we managed to fly in 2 installments, i put in 4 sorties, and then has to pack up at 11 cause it looking like it would rain for the whole day, and now the sun is out if full blast lol. We now planning to go fly on Wednesday, and Gopi may try to come if he does not go back by wednesday. His location is very close to the flying field.

same here sir,we started little early and manage to get 3-4 sorties each before it started raining.

also managed to have sudhanshu jee's special idlies and sandwitches from sandeep sir before packing up for the day.

will try and join fun on wednesday with you.

that will be great, we reach by 7.15 to 7.30 and end by 9.30 on wednesdays. for me it is  basically a heli day, and will be having my raptor 50 and TZ V2 90.

I was thinking about sharing this video with all of you of my recent visit to India and to Bhondsi. WELL ANWAR BEAT ME TO IT....
Anwar you are too good.... did you smell it or do you have spies on our activities? 

Here is the text relating to it....

Originally I had planned 2 Sundays in Delhi, one for each field, Mundka and Bhondsi but I fell ill with Delhi Belly      on the Sunday and I had to fly out Monday morning so could not meet Ramesh and others at Mundka/Noida.

The guys at Bhondsi were very welcoming as usual... we met as if we had known each other for years... soft drinks and food was flowing in from all directions.... wow... thank you  .

Must add many thanks to Jamal and Sandy for trusting me and letting me fly their prized possessions... 

I did let Jamal down though... Hope he is not mad at me still...

Roet braved it out with his 50cc ... he did try to back out saying its too windy!!!
Manyu was there with his rolling circuits on the 50cc and you see Ravi flying the Heli.
Puneet and Karma were there too... So were Deepak and Ram learning from Jamal till I butted in..
I apologise for forgetting so many names ... I wonder if there are going to be any idlys and sandwiches for me on the next run....   

Once again guys many thanks for the very warm welcome and not so warm snacks and sandwiches...lol They were delicious..
