Zonuna, how can you be so understated about such a magnificient creation? This is easily one of the most awe inspiring and path breaking RC / Aermodelling projects ever to be showcased by a forum member. Bravo  (I use this smiley very rarely)

Details please - what materials have you used for the construction? Aluminium and Coro? Where is that engine from? Is it an aero engine or has it been modified?

I think all of us would love to see a build log of this baby. :salute:

Hi,
The engine used is MT 57cc gas engine and a 24 inch XOAR beechwood prop from Rc Dhamaka.the wing is made from a thermocoal fish box and some wooden ply,the vertial stab and elevaor also cut out from thermocoal, and the main fuse is made from wooden frame and thermocoal.and a Futaba standard sevos for the controls. :salute:

Excellent Build.

How did you reinforce the thermocol in such a big plane.

Cheers

zonuna

Thank you guys, actually we used a very few wing-ribs (Plywood) on the wings, Thermochol fills the gap between the wing-ribs, thermochol itself becomes rather strong after covering with Fevicole and paper. The fuse is build up with light wood.

With a scarcity of materials available here, we use anything we can find.

Our (Mizoram Aeromodelers) next Project will be a full scale Microlight glider (RC of course)
