An Off-Road track is coming up near fishcove.. about 10 min drive from fishcove ECR and will be ready by next week..

This is not the one in silversands!!

Heard its a hobby club for Offroad electric and nitro Rc cars ..where you can rent or use your own cars...will give the location details in a  few days...

I wish people made it clear it is in Chennai  :P  The ability to see the poster's location on the post itself helped me, otherwise I would have to go lookup in Google what "ECR" referred to.

Yeah there is a new track coming up near Fishermans Cove. Well I havent seen the one at Silversands yet cos its a lil too far. Waiting for the new track to be ready cos its a lot closer. Hope the track gets ready soon. Dying for the racing sessions to start. Chennai is at last getting into the RC scene. Woooo hoooo.

@ Sulil - do let us know if u get any updates on the track. Lets Race!!!

It refers to the East Coast Road which is the road leading to Mahabalipuram via Kovallam(the spot where Sai and a couple of others fly) and eventually to Pondicherry  :)

Guys, till this track comes up, why dont we catch up else where, Sholavaram, Kovalam, where ever.

Thanks. Been there once more than 20 years ago, but didn't know the name of the road.  I do vaguely remember Mahabalipuram, Ennoor, a VGP resort, some salt fields and a crocodile farm !

I was referring more to the heading and first post of this thread, as it is not clear immediately where this is !  Just be aware that we have an all India audience :P

Anwar, the VGP Beach resort and crocodile farm are still there however most of the salt farms given way to hotels and beach houses

yes guys this is not sundars atv place...and yes anwar im sorry i did not mention CHENNAI..
just found out some work is going on..finishing touches to the track...they are having a soft launch next weekend...so pepl please bring your off-road Electrics and nitros...a small fee will be required to use the track...will confirm more once i get the details...
