That looks like a Seawind, which is a common water landing capable plane.  Looks like Mr Lalmony is into water take offs

Prakkat has one or two of these.  We got a great deal on one from a fellow flyer in Qatar, so we (me and my brother) bought it, and gave the frame to Prakkat who does float flying.  If I remember correctly, we kept the engine.

How often does this meet happen? How does one join it?

This is an adhoc thing setup when some of us are all in Kerala at the same time.  I am the one who is outside the state for the most part, so a gathering can be arranged with Santhosh and Prakkat any time (as Prakkat spends more than half of his time in Kerala these days).

Unfortunately this time we were not able to arrange a meet due to other priorities, and partly due to the weather / exams / festivals all coming together.

Thanks, myself also based in Dubai, but i do visit Trivandrum very often and have some models back there. If there is going to be a meet please do let me know.
