CHENNAI WEATHER
I guess for all week end flyers the weekend weather is something to think about .
I guess flying this weekend at Chennai is out of question if the weather office forecast is something to go by cyclone to cross tamilnadu coast on 13/12/09 noon .

BTW I wonder what yellow message means in the red bold header ??? is it some kind of color coding for cyclone warning ???
The Map on this link as well :

May be other could look for their forecasts and Images to their places as well and update it .
This could develop to be a thread of weekly updates on friday which could be useful info for us ;D
May be Anwar could make it a separate weather forecast board for all India updated every Thursday or Friday for the weekend 8-)

This - most likely - is a throwback to the "old days" when coloured lights were used at strategic places in the harbour to warn of inclement weather conditions.
I was out sick last week, so was very eager to fly this weekend. It rains for like a total of about 8 hours the whole year here (and that too none in some years!). But when it rained, it had to pick a Friday morning, which is the regular flying day for us :banghead:
Went to the field, and barely got two flights on the Trex 500 between the rains. The weather gods seem to be decidedly anti RC !
Another mass of clouds headed our way guys :'( :'( :banghead: :banghead:
